James with Zorro!

Here are more pictures of James at Little Bit riding Zorro from today's therapy.
They took him outside so I was able to get some clearer pictures.
And they let me get closer while he was brushing Zorro.
Where you see James brushing, he was also counting to 10 on his own!

At the Beach

Braden and James at the beach. Sunday was a VERY low tide, and we went to our new favorite spot, just a few minutes from home, and played on the beach. They loved it!

Horseback Riding

Today was James' first full session of "hippotherapy" at Little Bit Therapeutic Riding Center. His horse is named Zorro. He rides the horse, both forward and backward, attended by an Occupational Therapist and three volunteers. They also work on reaching, reading, and so forth. And when he was done he got to lead the horse to his stall, help brush him, and then feed him carrots. He loved it.

Let it Snow Pt 2

Well, here we are in the Pacific NW in April and we had 4+ inches of snow Friday night. It was crazy! And to think that last Saturday it was in the upper 70s and we went to the beach up on Whidbey Island to enjoy the beautiful weather. So, this Saturday we spent time building a snowman and having fun in the snow.

Of course today, Sunday, most of the snow is now gone...including our snowman.
