James' Lost Tooth!

James lost his first tooth yesterday!
It's been loose for a few weeks, but it finally came out!
Above is his new smile, below is the tooth pillow
Aunt Becky made, getting its first use!











Here he's finding the quarters the tooth fairy left, and putting them into his bank.
















And now he's showing off his bank,
a full dollar richer!
(lots of inflation for the tooth fairy since we were kids!)

Snow in the Mountains!

On Sunday we drove up to Stevens Pass on US 2.
We thought the snow would all be higher than the road,
which crosses the pass at about 4000 feet. But just
short of the summit, we found snow along the road,
and here at the base of the Stevens Pass ski resort
--lots of snow!

We didn't have the right clothes to get out and play
in it, but both boys got to hold some--and Braden
ate his!
