This week we got back school pictures for both boys.
Enjoy!
Twice we got to visit the M-bar-C ranch on Whidbey Island. Once James and I went with a small group from the King County ARC, and once we all went with a large group from the Down Syndrome Community.
Here are some pictures of the horse-ridin’, wagon-ridin’, western fun!
We busted up part of our uneven back deck with a jackhammer this summer, replacing it with mulch. Very loud, very hard work, but satisfying.
Vacation Bible School this summer had a “space” theme, so here are pictures of the boys posing as astronauts:
We got to go to EUMC’s family camp at Camp Indianola, on the Kitsap Peninsula, for part of the day on Saturday. Here are a few pictures.
Braden participated in the annual “graduation” at his preschool at our church. Next year he’ll get to “walk,” but this year he was “promoted” from the Sunbeam Room to the Rainbow Room.
I had the opportunity to visit Ohio twice during March 2010. Braden sent his “Jessie” doll with me, so I took several pictures of her—here are a few. I was fortunate to visit with Mom and Dad and Pete and Becky for a whole Saturday (those are the snow pictures).
Jessie across the river from Ohio Stadium.
Jessie with the “guys” at Peter’s house in Medina.
And with the “girls.”
And making a “snow angel.” :)
This is Braden with “Douglas,” the preschool bear from his “Sunbeam” classroom last year. One weekend he got to bring the bear home, and was very excited.
Today Braden’s daycare had a visit from the Cat in the Hat for Dr. Seuss Day! He’s been excited for 2 weeks, and the cat has been leaving “clues” that he’s coming for Braden and the other kids.
Here are a few pictures of the fun:
On the 25th, James had the chance to do a “demo” session of Music Therapy with students in that program at SPU. It was a photo shoot for pics to accompany a forthcoming article in SPU’s magazine, RESPONSE. It’s supposed to be in the next issue, which will be out in the next month or so.
Here are a few of our pictures of the process:
